A few things to consider

Before you rush off and write your guest post, PLEASE read the following first. It’ll save you time and effort, trust me.

  • 6aliens.com is about self development and lifehacking, with a sprinkling of geekness. If you’ve got a great post about business or social media or something else then that’s great but it’s probably not going to fit well with the site unless you can put a self development or lifehacking spin on it. However if you have got a post that you want to share but doesn’t fit the theme and topics of 6aliens.com then let me know anyway, I know lots of bloggers in lots of different arenas who might well be interested in it.
  • Please contact me BEFORE you write your post. By all means draft it out but please don’t finalise your piece and then email me with it before we talk. This isn’t because I’m anal about posts on my site, it’s actually to stop you wasting hours of writing something that I feel isn’t in keeping with the site’s theme and topics. Let’s talk through your article first and then you can take the time to go away and write it.
  • I like to read content online that’s easy to work through, that I can scan to find the relevant information I want and that isn’t too long. That’s why I try to write in the way I do, so other people like me can do the same. If you’ve got a great idea that could make a great guest post, try to think through, in advance, how you write it in the same way.
